Handlebar P goes everywhere. When he passes on his trike, it doesn’t seem like he’s doing warp speed, but Bumbo will swear he’s seen the kid come out of a store at every stop on his route.

Handlebar P is like a contagious pillar of common sense—his music briefly transforms even a total douche bag into a somewhat-tolerable upright monkey.

Beginning arguments with “Handlebar P says…” seems to be, for lower life-forms, a favorite way to sound smart. If P doesn’t swoop out of nowhere to deliver sage wisdom at the crux of a conflict, one of his many friends will probably mis-rep-ruh-zent.

He tolerates Be Cool more than other folk. Handlebar P says, “Just tell him, ‘Be Cool, be cool.’”

Handlebar P is actually kind of a Captain Obvious, but his timing, his brief say-it-and-go delivery, and his frankness are often received like the voice of an angel. But he’s very observant, and knows the news even better than Bumbo.
